How We Made Call Analytics Simple

Most sales teams already record calls. Coaching and funnel control barely follow: a few conversations get listened to, and decisions rest on showcase talks and CRM statuses.

SENSO closes that gap. An automatic first pass across the full base: checklist score, whether a next step was set, which failures repeat, and what can sit next to the deal in CRM. Not another recorder — a working layer between a file in the cloud and a clear action for the sales lead.

Why recording is not a review

Telephony can store audio. Managers “sample a few calls.” In practice coverage is tiny, and feedback on conversations is rare.

Conversation-intelligence vendors describe the same picture. Avoma (vendor research, not an industry standard) writes that many sales leaders barely listen to calls, and the share of reviewed conversations is a fraction of a percent. Salesforce State of Sales 2026 (vendor survey) flags a feedback drought among younger sellers and a lack of manager time. Exact numbers differ by source. The pattern does not: recordings exist; systematic review does not.

Until each call answers simple questions — was need discovered, was a next step booked, where did tone break — the library stays an archive.

What calls show that CRM does not

Dozens of conversations a day hold why deals close or stall:

  • how need is discovered — or whether the talk jumps straight into a pitch;
  • how “too expensive” is handled;
  • whether a concrete next step is set, not “I’ll write you”;
  • where tone is already negative while the deal is still pushed as usual;
  • what repeats among strong and weak reps.

An external Science of Scaling survey (January 2026, sales leaders) lists typical discovery misses: weak next step, skipped qualification, pitching too early, shallow diagnosis, a single contact on the buyer side. That is not NURREL customer data. It matches what you hear once you actually listen to your own recordings.

Manual review does not scale. SENSO exists to surface repeats across the base, not one memorable anecdote.

What the first pass does

  1. Checklist score. Script, qualification, objections, tone — against your criteria, not a “perfect call from the internet.”
  2. Next step. Meeting, demo, document, date — or a foggy ending.
  3. Repeats by team and period. Where a stage leaks, which lines show up more on won versus lost deals. No “plus N percent out of the box.”
  4. Fields next to the deal. Short summary, customer pain, qualification, next step, risks — so the funnel is not only a “negotiation” status.

The flow is simple: telephony recordings → transcript → tags → dashboard and a drill-down into one call. If CRM is connected, the output lands in the deal card. Criteria are tuned to your process.

Other vendors’ percentages are not ours

Gong and others publish lifts on their own user bases. Those are correlations on their customers, often without a clean comparison. We do not copy those figures as NURREL results. What changes for you — stage conversion, share of calls with a real next step, ramp time — only shows on your recordings and your checklist.

What usually changes

  • leadership hears the language of the calls, not only CRM statuses;
  • new hires learn from labeled examples instead of a month on live leads;
  • less random listening — focus on repeating mistakes;
  • script and checklist update from the base;
  • a broken stage shows up in phrasing, not only in a “conversion dropped” report.

Timelines vary. The point is the same: sales becomes inspectable.

PULSO next to it

SENSO is conversation analytics. Next to it in NURREL is PULSO, a voice AI agent for handling and qualifying leads with the same rules you want in the script and checklist. The focus is sales and communications. Not SMM, and not another content tool.

How we usually start

  1. A demo on your recordings — not a polished demo script.
  2. A pilot with one team or one funnel stage.
  3. Checklist, next-step rule, CRM fields — tuned to your process.
  4. Short training: how to read the dashboard and what to change in the script.
  5. Support on call.

Connect the stream, agree what matters in the talk, watch the repeats, fix the process.

In short

Recording alone does not teach the team. SENSO runs the first automatic review: checklist, next step, repeats, fields in CRM. After that you still need to look at the repeats and change the script — otherwise it is an archive again.

If you want to see it on your data, write us — we will show a demo.
